October 22, 2003 Readme file for Windows SD Std Host Controller bus/storage drivers Version 6.0.4050.1 ====================================================================== What This Package Does ---------------------- This package contains following files. - The Secure Digital Host Controller driver for Windows 2000/XP - Secure Digital Storage Device driver for Windows 2000/XP Released Versions ----------------- Version 6.0.4050.1 Installation Guide ------------------ 1) To install Secure Digital Host Controller driver, do follwing: A) For Windows XP: 1. Copy the ZIP file to your HDD. Then unzip it to the folder. 2. Start Add Hardware Wizard. 2-1. Click "Start" then "Control Panel" 2-2. Cick "Printers and Other Hardware" 2-3. Click "Add Hardware Wizard" (in "See Also"). 3. Click "Next" then select "Yes, I have already connected the hardware" and click "Next" 4. Select "PCI Device", then click "Next" and "Finish". 5. The Hardware Update Wizard opens. 6. Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)", and click "Next". 7. Select "Search for the best driver in these locations." 8. Check "Include this location in the search:" then imput the location and click "Next". 9. Follow the instructions to complete the installation. B) For Windows 2000: 1. Copy the ZIP file to your HDD. Then unzip it to the folder. 2. Open Add/Remove Hardware Wizard. 2-1. Click "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel" 2-2. Open "Add/Remove Hardware" 3. Click "Next" then select "Add/Troubleshoot a device" Next" 4. Select "PCI Device" then click "Next" and "Finish" 5. Upgrade Device Driver Wizard opens. 6. Select "Search for a suitable driver for my device" and click Next. 7. Check "Specify a location" then click "Next" 8. Imput the location of the files and click "OK". 9. Follow the instructions to complete the installation. 2) To install Secure Digital Storage Device driver, do follwing: 1. Insert Secure Digital Storage Device in SD card Slot. 2. "Found New Hardware Wizard" opens. 3. Follow the instructions to install from the location of the files as wrote in above.
